Thanks for sharing those!

Did you end up getting any wake turbulence? I wouldn't have thought it would affect you from that far away...

Upper height limit off sydney is 500 ft. that and a long zoom lens with a good polarizing filter, and you can get some great shots, especialy if you slow to about 40Kts!

I was just watching the news... apparently Mingaloo the white whale is near Fraser Island... Lets hope he is still heading north.

Saw the "great white whale" off Gabo Island when we were there in October last year. Incidentally, the flights from Mallacoota onto and off (C172 RG II Cutlass) were particularly spectacular.

What is the picture of?

Whether it be of the grass strip, or the amourous guy sun-baking on the rocks, I liked it Rod:big_grin:

Kind Regards

Looks a lovely spot to spend a few days, even if you did'nt see any whales.

Most of those light-houses are situated in places where you can forget the rest of the world, mobile phones and the like, and simply enjoy the peace and tranquility.

Nice shots! You could work as whale spotter for whale watching tour companies in Sydney :D

I was on so many boat tours but would love to see whale from above. It looks so different.
