pete8862 Posted July 7, 2011 Posted July 7, 2011 Hi to everone, I was wanting to know if there is a restricted GA licence available, I heard there was, if so where do you look to find out about it. Pete

pete8862 Posted July 7, 2011 Author Posted July 7, 2011 Hi Pete,See the attached document RE push for sport PPL. -Andrew That's just what I want, how do I help to get that approved. Pete
Mazda Posted July 7, 2011 Posted July 7, 2011 I believe it will be different to a GFPT, which is not a licence. GFPT holders are student pilots and still need a dual check every 15 hours.
sseeker Posted July 7, 2011 Posted July 7, 2011 Or 90 days, whichever comes first. That's just what I want, how do I help to get that approved.Pete PM me your email address and I will forward you the email from the SAAA. It has all the info in it on pushing for this RPL. -Andrew
kaz3g Posted July 8, 2011 Posted July 8, 2011 Hi to everone,I was wanting to know if there is a restricted GA licence available, I heard there was, if so where do you look to find out about it. Pete The option is there now to obtain a PPL with nav but without CTA endorsements. Flying schools seldom tell students this. kaz
Mazda Posted July 8, 2011 Posted July 8, 2011 That is true, but I don't know why anyone would choose to do PPL without CTA!
