ben87r Posted July 12, 2011 Posted July 12, 2011 So, up hear in north QLD there dosnt seem to be any option to hire A/C other then instruction (if anyone knoes any different would love to know) so best option seems to be to buy which i was planing but dont have a spare 50k at the moment so i was thinking of trying to start a syndicate but dont know any thing about them, would be wanting to do everything by the book, been ripped 1 to many times in my life. I would like to have all fixed cost split 2/3 ways and then a wet hourly rate Any way any info/opinions/experiences would be greatly appreciated. Was also thinking of hireing out the plane to a selected group of pilots with reasnoble hours to help cover a few costs and help out a few othersthat are in the same boat. 1
Spin Posted July 12, 2011 Posted July 12, 2011 Try running a search ben87r, there have been some good threads on the subject. IIRC rockedriver had a good article that he put up. For what its worth I think you're going about things the right way, the best syndicates in my experience have everything laid out up front - from the basics like cleaning, fueling up to the biggies like what happens when one partner wants to (or has to) sell up. Here's one of them...... http://www.recreationalflying.com/threads/syndicate-rules-and-costs.19926/#post-135099
