PEMET

No, it is not you mate...I have contacted him but have not heard back...for reliability I offered several times to buy the code and host it here but the offers were declined.

However, some good news...I have asked Stan (Stanzahereo) to develop a much more safer and reliable version of PEMET to have on this site. It is laid out in two columns with the formal weather forcast from AirServices in the left column and the Plain English version in the right column so for safety you get both forcasts AND, it will be a helpful learning tool seeing both versions together should you ever only have the formal weather available to you.

Stan is working on it as fast as he can so hopefully it won't be too long a wait and when he has finished it I will let everyone know.

It would be great to have the program more reliable. I use a lot and get frustrated when I can't access regularly.

I.B has done a good job but as he says he needs to work for a living so not always at the computer.

I hope you can develop a similar product.

Regards.

others like Pitrex have stopped working too, Im thinking the no login page from ASA might have finally been shutdown

I used to have a fast link to the page, as of last Monday it just goes to front page for Air Services

I fixed our weather page here for the formal weather as soon as I found out...it is a very simple fix...I also advised Ian Boag at the same time but his is still not working...much better when it gets on here completely for everyone

I too have not been unable to access.

Dex, program gives taf, arfor in plain english. The best point is that it draws a line portraying fronts, also nominates the best runway.

I have had for a couple of years, bought from a guy Melbourne way for about $30.

Don't remember his contact though.

I also have been accessing Area 40 specifically direct for over 12 months but access has now been stopped.

Pitrex is a program that was developed by Tony Nixon.

I knew him as a FI at Tyabb in Vic

As Jabiru Phil said, 'gives taf, arfor in plain english. The best point is that it draws a line portraying fronts, also nominates the best runway.'

Giving the fronts as a visual guide is a very handy feature as it overlays the text and highlights the text description at the same time thereby giving a very quick and easy reference for fronts

Just by hitting page down, it highlights the next text reference and shows a visual diagram of the front

A great little program that was advertised for sale in RA magazine a year or so ago

I was at Tyabb on Sunday but Tony went aerial surveying 12 months ago and we have no contact info
