shane poggi Posted July 16, 2011 Posted July 16, 2011 hi im shane and free fly hanggliders in the s.e queensland area but have been reading up on powered harnesses and want to get started in powered harnesses,so any advice or any one that does both powered and non-powered flying, how do they find the transition of both and some of the pros and cons to this exciting looking flying:thumb_up:
Guest Maj Millard Posted July 16, 2011 Posted July 16, 2011 Hi Shane, Welcome to the site, you'll find it to be an invaluable source of info in many areas. There are a couple of nano-trike flyers in the Proserpine area, and a business in Cannonvale that builds lightweight trikes that use regular wings. Other than that I don't personally have any info on powered harnesses, but they sure sound interesting...................Cheers Maj...
Guest ozzie Posted July 17, 2011 Posted July 17, 2011 The guys that build these nano lights and the Mosquito powered harness also run an engineering shop at Proserpine, rebuilding cane harvesting equipment.
Suitman Posted July 18, 2011 Posted July 18, 2011 Welcome Shane! I hope you get a lot of enjoyment (& info) from the forums.
Guest davidh10 Posted July 18, 2011 Posted July 18, 2011 Welcome to the forums, Shane. You may have more luck posting your question in the "Powered Chutes and Hang Gliders Forum", rather than the "Just Landed" forum.
