Hildy Posted July 28, 2011 Posted July 28, 2011 Don I do have to agree with you there regarding Williamtown.I agree absolutely a clearance should be available to any aircraft for the Willy coastal lane, especially in bad weather. In fact I would encourage any of you to request that clearance, RA-Aus or not, if you believe you would be safer flying coastal. Don't let them bully you to fly a mile offshore either. I've had four navexs up the inland lane cancelled due to weather.
Guest Andys@coffs Posted July 28, 2011 Posted July 28, 2011 .......That's why I moved next to an airport. Yep, as soon as I get to stop paying for 2 x away from home at uni living costs for my daughters I have a hankering to own some flat land out near Nana Glen / Glenreagh where I can have my own strip. Of course a lotto win or 2 might be beneficial......but perhaps slightly less likely than the usual player given I dont play...no pay...no right first time, play Meanwhile back up to south Grafton to my hangar there. 70kms to the north Andy
