Has anyone flown with Flight One at archerfield?

Was thinking of doing my ppl conversion there. Has anyone flown with them (http://www.flightone.net.au/)?

 

Also has anyone flown the boomerang? What's it like?

G'day Shags,

 

I got my PPL there, they are brilliant, and by that I mean customer service. RAA pilots are treated as pilots and not some strange thing from the back cupboard. They aren't the cheapest around, they will tell you that. But go and say G'day and go for a run with someone. You'll enjoy it, well I did.

 

I flew their Boomerang but am not overly excited on it, it's a plane, a very solid plane and it feels it. I just like flying the 172 so did all my navs in it.

 

Send them an email and they'll get back to you sooner than you know it.

Thanks Tomo. The owner is actually a client of the firm I work for (otherwise I would never of heard of them). So I will do my biennial then organise a flight with them. Prices seem fairly reasonable, if there's any cheaper there wouldn't be many.

That's good stuff, might see you down there one day, I'll be doing my CPL through there as well sometime.
