DarkSarcasm Posted July 27, 2011 Posted July 27, 2011 Hi all, One of my plans for the summer is to try flying a Drifter (and maybe get my LP endo if I like it). Does anyone know of anywhere around Melbourne that trains with Drifters? I know the school at Sunbury has a Drifter, but does anyone know of anywhere with one on the eastern/northern side of the city? Cheers!
facthunter Posted July 27, 2011 Posted July 27, 2011 Check with Sunbury. My best advice. I don't know of anywhere else . You get your TW too. Nev
kaz3g Posted July 29, 2011 Posted July 29, 2011 Sunbury (Penfield) is the only one I know with a Drifter. Make sure you tie yourself on well! kaz I need to be inside when I fly...
Guest Maj Millard Posted July 29, 2011 Posted July 29, 2011 You'll be a real pilot then Darks !!....and you and Tomo can compare notes...again ..................................Maj...
DAVID SEE Posted July 29, 2011 Posted July 29, 2011 Does anyone know of anywhere around Melbourne that trains with Drifters? Hi Darks. Like Tomo says 'just do it'. You've never known a side-slip until you've done one in a drifter, you'll be rapt. Cheers Davo.
.Evan. Posted July 29, 2011 Posted July 29, 2011 It might be a bit of a drive also, but doesn't Tooradin have some Drifters?
