My congratulations as well, Don. Now you need a fast "Chariot" to carry you further and further afield. And return, I hope.

winsor68 Posted August 14, 2011 Posted August 14, 2011 Fantastic result Don... I will sleep better at night. Don't make the classic mistake of believing the battle won... the real work begins now... We will keep up the support.
Wayne T Mathews Posted August 14, 2011 Posted August 14, 2011 Believe it or not but the work (in the background) was well under way by last Saturday (yesterday)! Go Don, Go! -- C'mon Col, C'mon! Wayne.
fly_tornado Posted August 14, 2011 Posted August 14, 2011 Many congratulations Don, I hope you don't end up loosing too much sleep fighting for our rights in Canberra.
bushpilot Posted August 19, 2011 Posted August 19, 2011 A bit belated - but well done Don; the groundswell of support for you was obvious in the lead up to the election... Premised, I think, on not only your background, but the feeling that you do listen.. Please keep listening..
Chrism Posted August 19, 2011 Posted August 19, 2011 Hi Don, Congrats from me too. One quick question: as a 'local' are there any updates on the future of Warnervale? I have heard that the RAA activity up there is increasing. Any developments at the CCAC that you know of, maybe rescheduling last years cancelled fly-in? I popped in a few weeks ago for a look: had the run up bay/taxiway been resurfaced? Very keen to see the futures of our valuable airfields secured. Thanks for any info. Chris
Ronin Posted August 21, 2011 Posted August 21, 2011 Congrats Don, and i do like the idea of Pelican that sounds great. Eric
