Guest Crezzi Posted August 13, 2011 Posted August 13, 2011 Is that a Pegasus Trike? Yes - it looks suspiciously like an ex-QuikR to me (but might be a GT450).
.Evan. Posted August 13, 2011 Posted August 13, 2011 The comments on the article are interesting reading. So many people don't quite know what they're talking about.
DAVID SEE Posted August 13, 2011 Posted August 13, 2011 The comments on the article are interesting reading. So many people don't quite know what they're talking about. You're right there. It's a wonder they didn't call it a 'cessna ultralight'
turboplanner Posted August 13, 2011 Posted August 13, 2011 You're right there. It's a wonder they didn't call it a 'cessna ultralight' In the earlier report which I posted the description was "Ultra-light plane" - that came straight from the news desk, so understandable In the later report here it was described as "Ultralight Aircraft" What did the journalists do wrong? Jake, the threshold is a major road with a rural fence, some of them do.
turboplanner Posted August 13, 2011 Posted August 13, 2011 Jake, that was not shoddy journalism. Journalists read this site, and pprune and the last thing we need to do is antagonise them when they are doing their job. They have to squeeze a report into the amount of words available on the day. There will always be bad reports, and they are fair game, but we should try to encourage good research.
