skeptic36 Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 What they were saying about aviation in 1965. I hope it's legible, my teenage daughter assures me it will be. I think the conversation went something like: Me: but i don't think they are big enough Her:of course they are ya freak, they'll just have to like click on it and then zoom in. Regards Bill
Owi Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 Well, this freak knows how to zoom but its still illegible - the jaggies just make it too hard to read. You need to scan it to a bigger format with about 150dpi. Cheers,
Gnarly Gnu Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 I also was skeptical 36 but clicked in faith.... alas only a few words are readable. Freakish but like, true. Gnu
old man emu Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 Get her to save it for you as a pdf, then it can be enlarged. OME
eightyknots Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 I could read a few words such as "How Safe Is Flying?" Please scan a larger version for us:
skeptic36 Posted August 31, 2011 Author Posted August 31, 2011 Updated files, I had to grovel for my daughter... (she wrote that herself - no grovelling around here, i demanded ) 1
Owi Posted August 31, 2011 Posted August 31, 2011 Ah, fantastic! Wow, an interesting article. Some things haven't changed and yet others have changed dramatically. Thanks for sharing, mate. A worthwhile effort.
winsor68 Posted August 31, 2011 Posted August 31, 2011 In case anyone is still having trouble... click on the word (scan...etc) next to the photo rather than the photo and you should have it in a readable (and zoomable) format... Thanks for making the effort Bill... A very interesting read... amazing to think that the "Jet Age" was only 8 years old when this was written...
