what's the saying, "they fly among us". Good attempt at an altitude record, stayed in the white stuff a long time before losing orientation, but what a bloody fool for going in there in the first place.

I guess he had his 178 seconds thankfully he had a plan B not always the case!

Clearly he had opportunity before entering cloud to turn away. Still once in the cloud his flight was stable. If he had the means to hold a steady course he would have ended up flying out of it.

The camera being fitted to the frame gives the impression that the pilot was moving all over the place but that was as a result of severe movements of the air frame. He is still over tiger country and if all that hits a cliff wall its not going to be pretty. I'd wager he wont go into cloud again.

If he survived that he is very lucky !!. I presume he had a chute on. What was he thinking to try that ?.
