Kenchhidu Posted September 1, 2011 Posted September 1, 2011 But still, that means ours arent far behind. The new magazine team are doing a great job. 2
winsor68 Posted September 1, 2011 Posted September 1, 2011 Its so nice to have something positive to report from Ra-Aus... Well done!
Admin Posted September 1, 2011 Author Posted September 1, 2011 (Please note that I just removed a few posts which started further posts that ended up being from a mistake made by the first poster saying he already purchased the mag but turned out it was a different mag...Ian) 1
winsor68 Posted September 5, 2011 Posted September 5, 2011 I checked the mail box about half a dozen times today... Nothing yet.
.Evan. Posted September 5, 2011 Posted September 5, 2011 Nothing in mine, either! C'mon AusPost, do your thing! :mail:
Guest ozzie Posted September 5, 2011 Posted September 5, 2011 Here, have a squiz at this while you wait. http://www.skydiver.com.au//onlinemag.aspx?&bkcode=000014177a196cbe25b56&langid=en
Deskpilot Posted September 6, 2011 Posted September 6, 2011 I'm not into sky-diving but what a super presentation. Just off to Google Calameo.
Guest JRMobile Posted September 6, 2011 Posted September 6, 2011 Great read Ozzie - thank you......
Guest ozzie Posted September 6, 2011 Posted September 6, 2011 Not a bad presentation considering that there are about half the number of members in the APF compared to the RAAus.
.Evan. Posted September 6, 2011 Posted September 6, 2011 Arrived today! Yay! Have read most of the articles and have really enjoyed it so far. Good show.
.Evan. Posted September 6, 2011 Posted September 6, 2011 Woohoo! I certainly feel honoured. :1st: I just hope everyone else gets it soon too!
Suitman Posted September 8, 2011 Posted September 8, 2011 I'll have to trek off to the P.O. Box to get mine .... Looking forward to a good read this weekend! Peter
Guernsey Posted September 8, 2011 Posted September 8, 2011 Woohoo! I certainly feel honoured. :1st:I just hope everyone else gets it soon too! The Right Honourable Evan. Congratulations, Alan. 1
Spin Posted September 8, 2011 Posted September 8, 2011 Settled in to read mine last night - bit of anticipation in getting to the classifieds as I used to read them on the website weeks before the mag arrived. Gets another  from me.
jerrajerra Posted September 9, 2011 Posted September 9, 2011 Purchased mine yesturday. The local newsagents shelf was looking aviation bare for a while. Quiet an enjoyable read over a sangga and coffee. Apparently they only order 3 of the mag and they do disappear off the shelves within weeks. Great job to those behind this publication.
Guernsey Posted September 9, 2011 Posted September 9, 2011 Purchased mine from the newsagent today. Looks like the Newsagents are getting them first again. Alan.
Guest Jake.f Posted September 9, 2011 Posted September 9, 2011 They need to get their act together with delivery here I think.
Guest Jake.f Posted September 9, 2011 Posted September 9, 2011 Hope so!! I need the magazine as an excuse to sit around and be lazy while reading it...
coljones Posted September 9, 2011 Posted September 9, 2011 Just got my brand new Dyson-Holland RAA to GA PPL Conversion manuals (2 vols) but no SportsPilot magazine. Guess I will just have to suck up and study hard til monday (or tuesday ... etc) The things one does just so I can land at Alice Springs (and other CTAs) Enjoy your weekends Col:outback:
Guest ozzie Posted September 10, 2011 Posted September 10, 2011 People whinging about delivery trime, note this. The catagory that this mag is posted under means that it is moved by Australia post when there is room on the truck. If the truck has a full load of 'real' mail then your mag will sit until there is room on the vehicle. Delivery time or percieved delay is not the fault of the printer or publisher.
