Guest ozzie Posted September 15, 2011 Posted September 15, 2011 Heard on the news last night that the US President is planning his trip for November. I wonder just how big the NFZ will be for his visit, 50/100 or 200 mile radius of Sydney and how many people's incomes are going to be affected by not being able to work because they can not access the airspace.
turboplanner Posted September 15, 2011 Posted September 15, 2011 They'd certainly keep people flying electric powered shopping bags away Oz
eightyknots Posted September 15, 2011 Posted September 15, 2011 I think the Obama era will soon be a thing of the past if the "Powerin for President" campaign is successful. See: http://www.recreationalflying.com/threads/nsw-act-by-election-vote-closing.28352/#post-177555
Guest ozzie Posted September 15, 2011 Posted September 15, 2011 http://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&tab=wl Here is a Google earth view of Airventure during the show. Zoom in on Oshkosh and find the ultralight airstrip at the southern end. Now have a real close look for Dale's Lazair parked on the ground. It is there just almost impossible to see as it blends in to the ground. Stealth it is. Also those that do not grasp the actual size of the place should find this interesting.
