Actually she hasn't done any flying with me as pilot, but she enjoys flying, and since their mail arrives by plane every week, they are used to aircraft. Lives in the middle of the Kimberleys. facthunter Posted October 9, 2011 Posted October 9, 2011 If your flying partner doesn't use her own broom that is a good start. It is a bit sad to see all this encouragement to end the freedom etc that one HAS when single. Don't rush this one. It's the most important decision you make in a lifetime.. Nev
J170 Owner Posted October 9, 2011 Posted October 9, 2011 Yep, as single as they come... which is why I can get away with saying it... Stay single, stay rich....
Tomo Posted October 9, 2011 Author Posted October 9, 2011 Stay single, stay rich.... For that to happen you need to be rich... "Get married, stay poor" Works just the same Don't rush this one. It's the most important decision you make in a lifetime.. Nev Thems are wise words me thinks...
Yenn Posted October 9, 2011 Posted October 9, 2011 Rich or poor? Who cares, happy is what counts. I heard a doctor on the radio this morning, saying that the poor people in third world countries are always happy and Aussies are always miserable. He suggested anti depressants should be put in the cornflakes and water supply. I just hope that no politicians heard him.
Tomo Posted October 9, 2011 Author Posted October 9, 2011 I heard a doctor on the radio this morning, saying that the poor people in third world countries are always happy and Aussies are always miserable. That's remarkably true, having been in a third world country and seen it for myself, they haven't much, but they never cease to be happy. To an extent obviously, but I think it comes down to being grateful. They are so grateful for anything they get, not complaining about what they don't get.
facthunter Posted October 9, 2011 Posted October 9, 2011 You're right there Tomo and you have seen it first hand. We seem to think that the rest of the world should be like us and have the same values. They should all come and have a look and listen to the wingeing and then go and do something else better and save themselves the trouble. Nev 1
alf jessup Posted October 9, 2011 Posted October 9, 2011 Yep Tommo, Seen it first hand myself in India when i worked there, the poorest of people were the happiest and geeeez there was Billions of happy people over there. Happily married Alf, She's happy and I'm married 1
