turboplanner Posted October 14, 2011 Posted October 14, 2011 What happens if you fly a Sav... Especially It's battered and has wrinkly skins. It lands flat?
pudestcon Posted October 14, 2011 Author Posted October 14, 2011 What happens if you fly a Sav... Especially It's battered and has wrinkly skins. Sav!!!? Is that short for savoly, or 'little boys'? Pud
Riley Posted October 14, 2011 Posted October 14, 2011 Sav!!!? Is that short for savoly, or 'little boys'?Pud Reflecting that 18 months have elapsed from the time you first started playing with it until you eventually got it up, I'd suggest that "Wanna see my Thruster?"ain't gonna cut much ice as a pick up line with the maidens. On the other hand, the offer might possibly entice a couple of old hangar rats like Pommie John & his mate into your shed. When it comes to pick up lines, (in the hopes that it doesn't work) perhaps best that we stick with Tomo's "haven't we met somewhere before?"

You and Pommie John are always welcome to come and see my Thruster Riley. All things going well you might have to travel some 75 nm to the NE of Northam after next weekend though!! I concur that my pickup line probably wouldn't do it, but then I never had a good one anyway. Pud
turboplanner Posted October 14, 2011 Posted October 14, 2011 You don't have to confess Pud, it's alright.
facthunter Posted October 15, 2011 Posted October 15, 2011 I find the one where the Sheila walks up and says' You don't remember me, do you? the hardest to cope with. Just imagine what goes through your mind Incidently, for the femminists "sheilagh" is an irish thing like a TIKI. (NZ). Good pilots don't need lines anyhow, Pud. They have natural animal magnetism. ( ask them). Nev
Guernsey Posted October 15, 2011 Posted October 15, 2011 Cor stone the crows Nev, are you suggesting that we can only attract animals. Come to think of it, you may be right as my dog is the first to greet me when I come home. Alan.
facthunter Posted October 15, 2011 Posted October 15, 2011 ALL dogs love me. They must have special perception for quality. Nev
Guernsey Posted October 15, 2011 Posted October 15, 2011 Your right Nev, unconditional love, they never criticise, don't hold grudges and would never whinge on a forum. Alan.
Tomo Posted October 15, 2011 Posted October 15, 2011 Well at least we don't think so... unless of course you can talk dog. I was bitten by a ferrel dog once, I'm still unsure of whether he had an over control of human love, or was just getting grumpy?
facthunter Posted October 15, 2011 Posted October 15, 2011 I just look them in the face and they know what I'm thinking. Nev
ahlocks Posted October 15, 2011 Posted October 15, 2011 ... you may be right as my dog is the first to greet me when I come home. Have you ever noticed that when you lock the wife and dog in the boot of the car, it's only dog that's happy when you let him back out?! with what? Getting her to come close to the boot....
