facthunter Posted October 15, 2011 Posted October 15, 2011 Would take a bit of an effort to beat that. Nev
Guest ozzie Posted October 16, 2011 Posted October 16, 2011 They are working on breaking it at Perris next year. The 'open' invitations have been sent out around the world. Over the next 18 months if one wishes to participate, they have to attend several 'big way' training camps being held in several different countries each progressively getting larger in numbers. If successful in satisfying the requirements it is off to Perris for the selection camps. About 600 will finally try out for the record attempts. Kneecapping is severe, screw up at any level and you're out. Plenty to take your place. Most will spend in excess of 20,000 usd to try for the final attempts. It is amazing really. One is competing as an individual but striving for a team result. Sports psychology at it's most interesting. ozzie
