Tomo Posted October 20, 2011 Posted October 20, 2011 Reminds me of the time this guy asked a bloke whether he wanted him to carry his bag, he said "No, let her walk"
pudestcon Posted October 20, 2011 Posted October 20, 2011 Reminds me of the time this guy asked a bloke whether he wanted him to carry his bag, he said "No, let her walk" You are cruising for a bruising Tomo:black eye: Pud
Suitman Posted October 20, 2011 Posted October 20, 2011 Reminds me of the time this guy asked a bloke whether he wanted him to carry his bag, he said "No, let her walk" Errr, You're not married, are you Tomo ? <<thought not>>
Tomo Posted October 20, 2011 Posted October 20, 2011 Yeah bit of a worry ain't I... what's even more a worry is that I can remember these sort of one liners!
planedriver Posted October 20, 2011 Posted October 20, 2011 Errr, You're not married, are you Tomo ? <<thought not>> Of course he's not! He's still got a few bob in his pockets. Wish I had been as smart as you Tomo
Guernsey Posted October 21, 2011 Posted October 21, 2011 Well I believe I was even smarter....I was married with three children when my wife took a job at the Guernsey Airport ( I built our house next to the airport ) as a cleaner so that I could learn to fly. I was of course working full time plus a part time job driving taxis in the evening to support the family, but her entire income she dedicated to my flying and has continued through our married life and contributed to the various aircraft we have owned. Even though we are now on pensions, she still saves up to buy me things which are aviation related, headset, Plb etc. etc. Very happily married Alan.. 4

facthunter Posted October 21, 2011 Posted October 21, 2011 You're a lucky man , Alan (but so am I). Some others aren't so lucky. I've seen some of their wives.( The lottery you lose but still keep paying for the ticket). Nev 2

I take it that you married both the protoype, and entire production run of that variant! 1
naremman Posted October 22, 2011 Posted October 22, 2011 Yeah bit of a worry ain't I... what's even more a worry is that I can remember these sort of one liners! Tomo, other than the alientating 50% of the populace, the early onset of dementia in someone sub 21 is a significant concern!!
Guest Maj Millard Posted October 23, 2011 Posted October 23, 2011 The nice thing about dementia is you get to meet new people every day ! Alan (post #13)...are you hung like a mallee bull or something ????....................................................Maj...
Guernsey Posted October 23, 2011 Posted October 23, 2011 I take it that you married both the protoype, and entire production run of that variant! Yes the prototype was an early model ultralight with a high performance two stroke and then progressively increased in weight with a more powerful engine, a much better performance, much better handling, a more comfortable ride and all the bells and whistles....that's why I still weigh only 70 kilos.. Alan.

william russell Posted October 24, 2011 Posted October 24, 2011 Alan you are treading on very thin ice with that comment LOL
Guernsey Posted October 26, 2011 Posted October 26, 2011 Alan you are treading on very thin ice with that comment LOL Not really William as I was naturally thinking in aeronautical terms . If I was well hung I would weigh an extra 5 kilos at least, which would reduce the aircraft's performance, it would be like having a 'Haggis ' stuck between my legs and you know what they weigh . It would also limit my performance duration as I would have to carry less fuel in the aircraft.. Do ye ken what I'm talkin aboot. Alan.
