Ian made comment in this thread page 6 http://www.recreationalflying.com/threads/recreational-flying-gps.27195/page-6 that another company would take over the digital maps from October. I'm sure he will shed light on the situation shortly

Interesting to note that the FAA is going to start restricting access to digital charts from April 5 2012.
