Chris Wilson Posted December 6, 2011 Author Posted December 6, 2011 Welcome Chris... Are you training in a Sirius? No, a Foxbat at present but hope to get some hours in a Savannah on the coast over xmas.
Wayne T Mathews Posted December 6, 2011 Posted December 6, 2011 Welcome Chris... Four hours out of Emerald and training on a Foxbat and then a Savannah... I take it you're into STOL, eh? If that's the case, wait till you see the Hornet Scotty built down at Taree with Ole Hartman's help... You'll love it.
FlyingVizsla Posted December 6, 2011 Posted December 6, 2011 Chris, We are just down the road in Springsure, south of Emerald. Which direction are you from Emerald? Sue

Sue Hi Sue, We are only 85k SSW of Springsure as the crow flies but South of the range, so something with wings will make those trips to town alot quicker. Chris

I see the airstrip. I guess you have to come the long way round - through Injune or Mantuan Downs? Either way it is a looonnng way - flying would take you about a half hour to Springsure - its must be about 3 hours driving. Look us up when you call into Springsure. Sue
Guernsey Posted December 6, 2011 Posted December 6, 2011 No, a Foxbat at present but hope to get some hours in a Savannah on the coast over xmas. The Foxbat is available with floats....ideal for the weather you are getting however they do tend to float a lot even AFTER you've touched down.. Alan.
