Idravario AVY2 Props

Anyone able to supply information on overhaul manual, parts supply? We have one fitted to our Tecnam 2004 bravo which is coming up to 800 hrs, but are unable to scource parts/information .

I have an Idrovaria HS2 and it could be the same prop you have as I recognise the AVY2 fitted to an Alpi 300 with a hydraulic constant speed unit and would also be looking for overhaul manuals, parts etc in the not too distant future, I"ve got 50 hrs on mine at the moment so not needing an overhaul just yet.

 

The only document I got with the prop/hub assembly as supplied installed on the aircraft was a prop and hub log book and installation manual as supplied by my Aus dealer. I might add the installation manual has no information on maintenance. My sugestion is to contact the Idrovario manufacturer from their website as they list prices for blades etc. at http://www.alisport.com/eu/eng/index.html

 

They should be able to supply an overhaul manual or approach your Tecnam dealer.

 

Sorry I could not be of more help but thought I"d let you know that manuals apparently are not supplied with the prop/hub assemblys as I suspect the manufacturer would prefer the units be returned for overhaul, this is speculation on my part. I would expect there would be NDT required on the hub assemblys and possibly the blade cuffs and MPI inspections on the hardware or replacement.

overhaul is normally sheduled every 300 hours, I will sent mine next month, sometimes it takes 1 to 2 weeks before they respond a mail, but till now every time I get a response.
