petetheprinta Posted December 23, 2011 Posted December 23, 2011 Xmas is an event, (in our family anyway) So amid all the good, the doom and gloom, the informative, the amusing, the silly, (but never dull) threads I read in these forums, I would take this opportunity to wish you all a safe and merry Christmas and better times for the coming New Year. 3
Guernsey Posted December 23, 2011 Posted December 23, 2011 Yes Pete you are correct it has been an eventfull year to say the least. We've had good news and bad, differences of opinion, debates, arguments. some heated, accusations, pointing the finger, blaming people but amongst it all we have had good positive threads, learned a lot, met some fantastic people, sorted out our differences, had an enormous amount of laughs just like some families, after all we are in fact a Family of Forumites made up of different individuals with a common interest. so to ALL you Forumites I also wish you a very Happy Christmas and look forward to stirring the pot and having some laughs in the New Year. . Alan Marriette. 1

Guernsey Posted December 24, 2011 Posted December 24, 2011 Lucky you, Sue. (Wish I had a new job). If you had posted that dog as your Avatar you might have obtained a job as a Detective or a customs officer. Alan.

Lots and lots of new toys to play with sadly they don't fly but i can sit in the cockpit of a Spitfire or an Aermacchi MB or an Aero Commander or even a Vampire and let my mind soar to new heights.
