I saw that video on FB a while back.I reckon that a Jet was just out of screen to the right, doing run ups..Which has lifted the aircraft.There is a bit of GSE on the ground near the aircraft.

Not only Jets, I've had the same happen to me when I was in the aircraft and one of those damn powerfull Drifters taxiing in front of me applied full power.:cops:Alan.

You have got to ask yourself why the person filming the video didn't take steps to try to prevent the aircraft being totalled.

I wondered if it was a surveillance camera as it didn't follow the aircraft after it lifted off.

A few of us were standing around at Wangaratta one evening, amongst our trikes, when the mail plane, which had landed after us, taxied for departure and we copped the prop wash as he turned. Everyone dived for their respective aircraft to hold them down. One came close to having a wing hit the ground.

 

Obviously the pilot noticed what he had done, as he called us and apologised over the radio as we were departing shortly afterward.

Good for him for apologizing. Some folks, like a lot of car drivers would scurry off and hope nobody saw...

Yes, that wind came up pretty quick. I had a young delectable piece help me hold my Jab down, when I taxied back to the hangar it was like flying in turbulence.

Well guys our Morgan Sierra was not in the least bit affected possibly because it is low wing, or heavier than some, or much more stable on the ground, or correctly parked,

 

or the turned up winglets, or a wider track between the main wheels, or the Matco brakes, or the fact that the hangar it was parked in is completely draught proof.

Did you have it then?... big blow was in March 2010, well before morgan arrived and landed YGAW contra circuit direction (if same A/C, red and grey from memory?)

Where did the italics come from I never pick italics. There are very limited fonts available and as a Mac operator I refuse to use PC style fonts. So there

I might see you there. I won't be flying, too hot but maybe somebody can show me how to get my plane in an out of the hangar without assistance. What sort of time you looking at?

 

Just use a standard font (sans-serif or Times)....
