robinsm Posted January 1, 2012 Posted January 1, 2012 Damn, had to change the bucket list to a 44gal (200ltr) drum list after that. Fantastic thanks Linda. 2
eightyknots Posted January 1, 2012 Posted January 1, 2012 You had a friendly chopper pilot at your flank!
.Evan. Posted January 1, 2012 Posted January 1, 2012 Sure did! It was great. Although, we were doing about 120 kt .... if I was paying top dollar for a low level heli tour, I would want to see it a bit slower than 22o km/h! At 500 feet the scenery would wizz past before you could look at it!
Guernsey Posted January 1, 2012 Posted January 1, 2012 You had a friendly chopper pilot at your flank! That was the stand by rescue helicopter. Alan.
.Evan. Posted January 1, 2012 Posted January 1, 2012 That was the stand by rescue helicopter. Alan. Hehe!
brilin_air Posted January 2, 2012 Author Posted January 2, 2012 That was the stand by rescue helicopter. Alan. That's what made this flight so special, it's the only Rec Aircraft that can carry 2 pilots, 12 Apostles, do over 120knts, and have it's own support chopper. -Linda 3
