winsor68 Posted January 15, 2012 Posted January 15, 2012 He actually just about has perfect control!! WoW!!
winsor68 Posted January 15, 2012 Author Posted January 15, 2012 Has a heck of a lot of potential in my opinion.... Check out this Australian Hover Bike.
petetheprinta Posted January 15, 2012 Posted January 15, 2012 Geez, nearly took a foot off at 1:10...Edit: just finished watching the video... interesting concept, it does have potential... You mean literally, not a foot off as in altitude.
dazza 38 Posted January 15, 2012 Posted January 15, 2012 He actually just about has perfect control!! WoW!! It would make a great ride on mower.
sfGnome Posted January 15, 2012 Posted January 15, 2012 You know how shopping trolleys never go in a straight line? I think he's just invented the flying shopping trolley. 3
airangel Posted January 15, 2012 Posted January 15, 2012 This would be great for drying wet cricket pitches !
skeptic36 Posted January 15, 2012 Posted January 15, 2012 I like the lawn mowing prospects of it... You could nearly start a Jim's Aero Mowing... Thrusters/Drifters for the whipper-snipping and this for the mowing.... Thrusters..... only good for tree pruning (can't get the prop near the ground) Drifters ........... only good for mulching the prunings (can't get the prop near anything) What you need for whipper snipping is a trike Regards Bill
Guernsey Posted January 15, 2012 Posted January 15, 2012 Absolutely love it! A FOUR legged undercarriage just like the flying Guernsey Cow. Alan.
winsor68 Posted January 15, 2012 Author Posted January 15, 2012 I also placed another thread with a link to it above showing an Aussie who is working on a Hover Bike... Doesn't show it flying as successfully as this one... but looks great!
Powerin Posted January 16, 2012 Posted January 16, 2012 I must be slow....I don't see the potential. If that engine stops you are suddenly flying a brick aren't you? Does the self stabilizing mechanism used in toy helicopters work on a larger scale like this? I reckon this machine could do with some stability.
