LimaMike08 Posted January 17, 2012 Posted January 17, 2012 Hi, I currently have a Arplast propeller on my 912 Quantum and it is getting a bit worse for wear. Has anyone put a different type of propeller on their Pegasus? I would like to go a Bolly but would like to know if there are other options or if Arplast is my only option. Regrads Les
Guest Andys@coffs Posted January 17, 2012 Posted January 17, 2012 If you fly under 95.32 then technically you can only put on what the manufacturer certifies for the aircraft. My suggestion is that before you spend the big $ give the tech manager at RAA a ring and seek his views as ultimately he is the one that can do the "No" thing, or HGFA if registered and licensed with them....
Kev Posted January 24, 2012 Posted January 24, 2012 If it's HGFA registered, your only option is manufacturer certified, or seek written approval from the manufacturer for a Major Modification ie the prop that you wish to install. Safe flying Kev
