Carolyn Grace has one of a very few 2 seaters left in the world and, of course, it was extensively used in "Battle of Britain" which I have on DVD and vhs. This amazing woman learned to fly the aircraft after her husband, Nick, was killed in a mv accident. Nick was a LAME and restored the aircraft to its former glory. I can only pretend in the Auster, but, one day....... kaz 1
Studentbiggles Posted January 21, 2012 Posted January 21, 2012 Kaz, your an AWPA member arn't you?.......when I get back to the farm at Tarcutta I'll look up Carolyn's article and if you don't have a copy I'll send it onto you........................Keep dreaming GF...............Fly safe................Alley
Nostalgair Posted January 25, 2012 Author Posted January 25, 2012 Hi All, Thanks for all of the kind comments and great feedback. I'll endeavour to post links here when I think the stories might be something this forum would particularly like, mind you, the entire blog is about aviation. :-) Either way, there is new content most days at http://www.owenzupp.com/_blog/Owen_Zupp Thanks again and safe flying. Cheers, Owen 1
facthunter Posted January 25, 2012 Posted January 25, 2012 Watch out for excess enthusiasm. You might need windscreen wipers on the inside of the windshield. Nev
