How do you post a pic in the QUICK reply ?

Posting a picture in a thread is fine but I can't seem to find a way when doing a quick reply anyone help Cheers

you have to click 'post reply' under the last thread first.

If the pic is hosted elsewhere and you have the URL, use the picture button .

 

Otherwise click "Go Advanced".

Host them elsewhere and use the aforementioned picture button.

To host them on this site and insert them as thumbnails you use the button to manage attachments.

Hosting images elsewhere and therefor using full size pictures in a post is really NOT the preferred method - using thumbnails is. This is so those that are on dialup or slow internet connections can enjoy the forums without having to wait for images to load.

 

For example even if they have seen the image in the first post of a thread they will have to wait till the full image loads again to read a new post that has been made in the thread. Also if where the image is hosted is having speed problems then the loading of the thread here is also slowed down.
