Hi all

I would like to let you know of a new feature we have implemented here for you called "What's New - Forum Ignore"

As you know clicking the "What's New" option under Forums on the main menu bar will display all the new posts that have been made since your last visit to the site making it easy for you to keep up with what's happening here at Aircraft Pilots.

However, there may be a forum where you are not interested in seeing any new posts but they still get displayed in the What's New function of the site.

Now, you have an option to "Opt Out" of having a specific forum's posts being displayed in the What's New function.

To easily select a forum that you want "excluded" from your What's New function, simply click "What's New? (ignore) from the drop down menu of your username on the right of the main menu bar:

After you click that you will see a list of forums that you can select from to "Opt Out" (ignore) any new posts from being displayed in your What's New function...it looks like this:

Simply click any of the check boxes to ignore that forum and you will no longer be bothered with any new posts in that forum again...if you later change your mind, simply click the box again to uncheck that forum to start seeing new posts in that forum again.

Hope you find it useful if you ever need it.

Don't forget if a specific user's posts are giving you the gripes, you can also ignore a specific user's posts as well. Simply go to the drop down box again on the main menu bar and select "People You Ignore" and you will see a page where you can enter specific users so you won't be bothered with having to read their posts again in any of the forums.

There are many options available to you here at Aircraft Pilots for you to set up the site in a way you can better enjoy...just spend a moment to explore all the features here and tailor the site to your own needs.
