I came across this old B&W British aviation movie, starring Jack Hawkins. I found the film very enjoyable and Hawkins performance good. Here's the link, enjoy.....John.

Youtube has an amazing Movie section... Seems most people are unaware... there are thousands upon thousands of free movies available...well, free except for the cost of download...

True windsor 68, although a 90 minute B/W movie wouldn't make much of a dent in the 20 to 100 GB phone & broadband deals that most of us have these days. Also those old British movies generally only appeal to us " baby boomer" kids that grew up in the 1950's. I'm a 1948 model myself.

 

My children are in their thirties and fourty's and may have never heard of Jack Hawkins.

 

I also came across "Ships With Wings", a far fetched stinker about the RN Fleet Air Arm in the Med. during WW2. Lots of carrier footage of Swordfish, Fulmars and Battles.......John
