pudestcon Posted February 14, 2012 Posted February 14, 2012 Well thanks for posting the link Col, and thanks to John Mckeown for making available his observations. From the other side of the country, Pud
Riley Posted February 14, 2012 Posted February 14, 2012 First hand, timely communication emanating from a meeting of our Board - it's like a breath of fresh air! After ten years of information drought from Canberra we now get a Board meeting precis within days of it happening from state reps on both sides of the country. What a significant step towards restoring RAA member confidence (and it's had one hell of a caning over recent years). A big thanks to both John McKeown (SE Qld) and Gavin Thobaven (WA) for their informative posts to the members they represent. I much like the portent of this new approach. Keep up the momentum gentlemen!
Guest davidh10 Posted February 15, 2012 Posted February 15, 2012 Great, John. Good to see the accident investigation feasibility project is started.
fly_tornado Posted February 15, 2012 Posted February 15, 2012 the SAAA have already started a safety project.
Guernsey Posted February 15, 2012 Posted February 15, 2012 Raaus is on the move and looking better every day. Thanks for the updates. Alan. Footnote. Would love to know when our 24 registered Morgan Sierra (now having to fly under 19 rego) can be returned to 24 Rego Factory Built.
shags_j Posted February 17, 2012 Posted February 17, 2012 Gold Coast AGM. If I am still in Brisbane I will be there... Push to stop flights over built up areas is concerning. I didn't even know this was happening. I really need to keep a little more up to date.
Guest ozzie Posted February 18, 2012 Posted February 18, 2012 Those peckerheads working for CASA should be made to obtain a pilot's licence, then they may really understand how to do their job.
