Guest micgrace Posted May 28, 2006 Posted May 28, 2006 Hi guys, Anyone got a shed out there in Northern Brisbane that I could rent to build an aircraft in ?? I'm only renting myself in a house with no room or would be permitted. Thanks Micgrace
Guest micgrace Posted May 28, 2006 Posted May 28, 2006 Hi guys, Put a contract on a house with big shed, should cure construction problems. Soon, I'll need a strip!! Micgrace
Admin Posted May 28, 2006 Posted May 28, 2006 Well done hope it all comes together for you - you will have to let us all know when you get the strip in so we can all drop in and say
Ultralights Posted May 28, 2006 Posted May 28, 2006 i am renting at the moment, and have no room to change the oil in my car let alone build theaircraft i want! a thought that has crossed my mind is actually rent a hangar and live in it while building and im sure other aircraft owners would like the extra security of a live in hangar caretaker??
Guest micgrace Posted May 28, 2006 Posted May 28, 2006 I thought of that one in Brisbane. At Caboolture, forbidden to build at hangar without coucil permit (fat chance of getting one) Just for storage, low level maintenence. hence why I just bit the bullet. Interestingly, the powers that be allow you to do your own (noncommercial) thing at home. Time to break out the Henrob/Dillon (fractionally stronger welds than TIG with fractionally less heat AND MUCH cheaper, but NOT for amateurs i.e. no training).Actually, you can weld or cut nearly all materials inc aluminium with one. Try that with a TIG/MIG Micgrace
Paul Willett Posted May 28, 2006 Posted May 28, 2006 I have some space to rent at Redcliffe. Will also have a hangar for sale in October, also at YRED. PM if you want more info.
