flyerme Posted February 22, 2012 Posted February 22, 2012 Hey was that Tony and /or Jeremy flying over the field today? I had just been up in my thruster 10 mns prior and encounted severe sink on take off (dropping from 150ft to 50ft) then lifted to 400 ft.leveled out then hit severe right wing thermal,60deg left bank, could not recover with ailrons full and rudder full,so full power applied ,by the time she was level had turned 240deg and lost 200 ft,so then made a right turn 90deg back to landing point and put her down with my heart in my throat:helmet: ....spewin the supercat still not going can handle a bit better than the sloppy thruster.........leson learned....So how did you guys in the Jabi find the turbulance across and around the lil sherlock strip?
