zodiac3813 Posted March 16, 2012 Posted March 16, 2012 Hi everyone, I'm considering buying a Rotax 912 ULS - powered CH701, is there anyone who can give me first-hand experience of what cruise speed is attainable? I know it's a draggy plane, but I'd like to acieve a reasonably economical 80 kts. Cheers Jim.

Maximum speed is 83 knots; at that point you would be outside the economical range. See thread http://www.recreationalflying.com/threads/the-zenith-ch-701-ch-750-and-icp-savannah-vg-xl-and-s-comparison.36408/ with more figures.
