ayavner Posted February 12, 2013 Posted February 12, 2013 Thanks for the update John! I was just going to pipe in that my CFI told me this weekend that I always tend to fly (the Jab) with the right wing slightly down (though it looks level to me), and that I need to keep a bit of compensation on at all times to keep the wings level. Thought it might be something like that, but great to hear you got it sorted.
biggles5128 Posted February 12, 2013 Posted February 12, 2013 I find that the skid ball in the steam gauge reads different to the ball on the Dynon, I seem to trust the Dynon more as it feels right in the seat of the pants too.

I bought a dinky little electronic slip/skid thingo from Spruce - try "belite turn coordinator" in your search engine. I don't know why anyone would bother with a steam one these days. All those moving parts ....
frank marriott Posted February 13, 2013 Posted February 13, 2013 I thought a spirt level set up level on level ground could not be wrong - gravity? Frank 1
