Guest J430 Posted April 27, 2007 Posted April 27, 2007 Spoke with a very well informed CASA AP tonight and it is deemed that the issue over engine in either Experimental VH or kitbuilt RAA rego is about the same, so long as its proven.....not "certified" however limitations regarding densly populated areas may apply to the effect that they are kept to a minimum, i.e. direct track where possible and away from congested airways (whatever that means in OZ, we dont have them!). So refer your C of A and or your RAA Manual, and with respect to BC's offer for a flight to Essendon or where ever.......go for it! Might cost you a landing fee but I bet you have a great day out.....in VMC only of course! As for flight in CTA, according to a fellow SAAA member and Air Services ATC trainer, so long as you have the PPL (nil rest.) appropriate radio / transponder etc as detailed above, you will be treated no different to any other a/c. RAA or VH experimental. Now back to normal viewing! J
