Guest totalmal Posted April 28, 2007 Posted April 28, 2007 Hi there.... after 33 years skydiving I've started listening to my knees and and am having a Bantam built by Max Clear here in NZ. Will have the Jab 2200 up front. I have 100 or so hours logged in Bantams and Tecnams and am looking forward to getting into it. Cheers.
Deskpilot Posted April 28, 2007 Posted April 28, 2007 G'day blue, welcome to the forum. You'll find a lot of info and encouragment here, along with the occasional confrontation, all in good fun though. Is Te Kowhai any where near Papamoa, got an aunt living there. Good luck with the Bantam, glad you chose an aussie engine. Cheers, Doug
cazza Posted April 29, 2007 Posted April 29, 2007 Hi and welcome. Sensible person to finally realise there is little reason to keep jumping out of a perfectly good aircraft. Flying is a great way to meet interesting people - like the ones on this forum. Cazza

Thanks Doug; Papamoa would be about 40 miles as the crow flies, with some fairly sporty hills in between.
