Akromaster Posted April 27, 2012 Posted April 27, 2012 In addition to the pax and xcountry endorsements, I'd like to eventually get tail dragger and variable prop endos. What's required for these? * Are they just hours or some sort of testing as well? * What kind of hours would constitute these endos? And as a side note, are low and high power endorsements mutually exclusive? Thanks... Ak
facthunter Posted April 27, 2012 Posted April 27, 2012 The tail dragger would be automatic if you are endorsed on one. If it had a C/S prop that would be the same. The course should include, C/S ( constant speed) in flight variable pitch and feathering/ reversing and prop overspeed theory as well but probably won't. Regardless of what is the minimum you should be on top of the theory. Nev
Akromaster Posted April 27, 2012 Author Posted April 27, 2012 Thanks Nev...i wouldn't be automatic on any of that at the moment. I'm learning to fly in a high power nose wheel a/c with fixed pitch prop but wanted to keep my options open for the type of plane I could fly or buy later on which is the angle I'm coming from. Ak
