robinsm Posted May 12, 2012 Posted May 12, 2012 What a great looking area for flying, those mountains and the valleys make for great scenery. Good film.
JabiruWeekendWarrior Posted August 23, 2012 Posted August 23, 2012 HeleneCillie, Nice video, was the camera attached the wheel spat of leg for the under-rear view footage?
Owi Posted August 23, 2012 Posted August 23, 2012 Ah, what memories. The Western Cape sure has some of the greatest landscape scenery in Southern Africa. Nice video.
HeleneCillie Posted August 23, 2012 Author Posted August 23, 2012 HeleneCillie, Nice video, was the camera attached the wheel spat of leg for the under-rear view footage? Hi - nice to hear from you. We fitted a small (40mmX14mmX20mm) HD camera under the belly just next to the leg! Regards

J170 Owner Posted August 24, 2012 Posted August 24, 2012 The transitions from scene to scene take too long but otherwise, great videos.
Owi Posted August 31, 2012 Posted August 31, 2012 how does flying a jab compare to say a c150? It depends on the model Jab, but, having flown C152 first then J170, I'd say it's a bit easier to handle and I felt more confident in it's capabilities. It's lighter, thanks to the composite materials used in construction. Also, being a newer design, it's like the difference between a 70's car and most recent year models. There's a lot of differences but some may prefer flying the older types to the newer ones. Each to their own. Cheers, 1

J170 Owner Posted September 16, 2012 Posted September 16, 2012 how does flying a jab compare to say a c150? Well, at 15 litres an hour it's cheaper. 1
