Deskpilot Posted June 2, 2012 Author Posted June 2, 2012 So none of you got distracted by the young ladies! More my type of bird really. Did you see the one that crashed into another bird and ended up in the water?
Guest Maj Millard Posted June 2, 2012 Posted June 2, 2012 Even birds stuff up, pretty amazing footage there. Years ago in a land far, far, away I was sitting beside a very small pond minding my own business. A duck appeared overhead and set up downwind for a landing on the pond. With some pretty talented flying he managed to get his arse in the water, but his touchdown was way too hot. (no wind !) He went skimming right across in front of me, and ended up exiting the water in an untidy fashion on the opposite bank !. He got up, shook the water out of his feathers, and gave me a look as if to say "you didn't see that did you !?".....................................................Maj...

Guest davidh10 Posted June 2, 2012 Posted June 2, 2012 Just an amazing piece of video, and fascinating to watch. I caught a few seconds of Cockatoos behaving in a similar manner recently (yet to be edited and published), but not as spectacular as this video.
