samuell Posted June 3, 2012 Posted June 3, 2012 Has anyone had any problems with carby ice in there savannah. If so how long did they have to use carby heat for? Any info would be great. Thanks Sam
Deskpilot Posted June 4, 2012 Posted June 4, 2012 Savannah or not, if there's moisture in the air and your on a reduced throttle decent, full or partial carby heat all the way in until you need to open the throttle again for full control (in circuit). Short bursts of throttle also help to keep the exhaust warm enough sufficient to provide the carby heat on the decent. Once in circuit, dependent on the amount of moisture, it might be advisable to keep it on until short finals.
