dan tonner
I will be attaching the wings to the fuselage this summer and I've heard lots about issues in fitting the wing-to-windshield fairing on these airplanes. I am interested in your experiences in this regard - in particular - what you've found that works or what you would do differently next time. I have over 600 hours into the build so far, am lovin' it, and have managed to decipher most of the poor Italian-to-English translation from the assembly manual. Maybe I'll get air this fall. Kyle Communications
Hi Dan Yes that part of the process isa real pain no one seems to be happy with the way they have done theirs. I installed mine and am not happy with it so will look at redoing it soon but while I am flying it for the moment it is fine. I put alu tape over the joint for the time being but it is not easy. One tip I would say for you to look at was trim it down a bit where it goes at the wing root rib I think it will fit better if the part does not sit up against the wing skin and the side of the wing rib Mark
