My first landing in the Dova Skylark.:)

This photo was taken at an airfield in the Czech Republic.

The pilot with me is a member of the Red Bulls Aerobatic team, they fly Zlin Z50's. This is his personal aircraft.;)

My Skylark should be on the boat to Australia at the end of next week:keen:  :)

Geoffs fantastic series of photos of your top end trip. The Darwin city shot is certainly one to remember.

This is me at Torquay. Some how I don't think I'm dressed appropriately to be cruising in the J - 400. 025_blush.gif.9304aaf8465a2b6ab5171f41c5565775.gif

P.S Nice pictures BrentC. :;)7:

Yes Darren the storm was preceeded by very strong NW winds raising dust and fairly roaring through the 15 to 25 metre high 4 eucalypts near our house. The lower white cedars on the western side were not as noisy.

Our house is amongst the trees roughly in the middle of this pic at 10 o'clock from F79 in the above shot taken in 2003. The prevailing winds come from about 12 o'clock in the picture and the paddock is only about 300 metres long with high voltage power lines on the southern and western boundaries with a few other obstacles in the first 70 metres! Still it is only about 5 Km to Brobenah airfield.

WINNER WINNER WINNER MAY PHOTO COMP !!

Hi All,

Great shots again this month. In particular, Geoff's pix of his Top End Trip (which made for very itchy feet, major envy and furtive glances at the bank balance, thanks Geoff!); and Ross' sunset shot at Leeton was incredible. Also, Darren Masters produced another beauty with his Patchwork Scenery (amazing what the lack of a perspex barrier will do hey?) but he won it last month .....

So ...... for technical brilliance, in the face of a particularly ordinary day, this month's winner is BrentC's Jab cruising over French Island. The aircraft is beautifully framed, sharp, and close enough to the camera ship that it isn't lost in the scenery. Well done BrentC - let's have your contact details so we can get those issues of Australian Flying Magazine off to you pronto.

Until next month, safe flying everyone.

Bad luck JabGrl. Your photo was the BEST by far! :;)7:

Of course, thank you very much to Shelley and Australian Flying for their great magazine.
