peteaw Posted June 30, 2012 Posted June 30, 2012 Hi everyone, great site, My name is Peter, based at Gawler SA, I have been flying Microlights for about 9 years started out with a Edge X503 wizard wing and am currently flying a Edge X582 streak wing. Considering going into 3 axis, getting a bit to cold flying the Microlight, need that cabin comfort. Cheers.
Guest Maj Millard Posted June 30, 2012 Posted June 30, 2012 Welcome to the site Peter, cabin comfort is nice, especially when it's cold !................................Maj...
J170 Owner Posted June 30, 2012 Posted June 30, 2012 Hello Peter. I also fly out of Gawler. I own a Jab J170 but seem to spend more time at the clubhouse these days than in my plane. Yes, I would imagine flying a trike the last few days would have ones gibblets well and truly frozen. 1

Herm Posted July 4, 2012 Posted July 4, 2012 Hey Peter.. I think you should stick with the trike so that I can fly it when it's warm, and then fly the Jab when it's cold Mardy

Compulsion Posted July 8, 2012 Posted July 8, 2012 Can anyone tell me what the story is with learning on the 170 at Gawler? Do they fly on weekends? How hard is it to get a booking? Any help appreciated.

Hi Compulsion... Yep they train on Sat and Wed. They have a online booking system that you can use once you are a member. Being winter the bookings have not been as active as they are in the warmer months, so now seems to be a good time to do training.. I would give the club a call for mor up to date info... Mardy
