So what sort of a/c are you researching to buy- Boeing 787, Grasshoopper, Lockheed Blackbird...

Im currantly looking at the Aeropup,as I am 6'3 tall and find a few a/c cramped e.g head hits roof/canopy, legs against dash.

 

Currently fly P92 Tecnam, but out of my price range

 

a jabiru 230 or similar with a rotax would be a good a/c as well i think

I think you will need to be a bit more specific with your essential criteria... otherwise you will risk getting as many opinions as there are people on the forums .

 

eg high wing/low wing; fast or slow; price range; single/two seat; for mainly local or cross-country; plastic fantastic or rag & tube or metal; nose or tail wheel etc

Get a Drifter, preferably a 582 WB. I am 6'4" won't tell you my weight. My seat is moved back 2". Lots of fun to fly and cheap to buy and maintain.

there is plenty to choose from comes down to the dollars at the end of the day,and how far you wish to fly ,,,

I flew mine from Lismore to Holbrook when I bought it. The guys from Boonah have taken theirs to Avalon airshow. It all depends on how much time you have.
