I have just been introduced to this web site, I would like to thank Frosty for the time he has spent

sorting it all out.

Past flying experience consists of learning to fly, in1974 at parafield with the Royal Aero Club of S.A.

learning in a Victa Airtourer. After gaining my restricted private licence,I later bought a Piper 140

did my nav. in that under the instruction of Od& D Aviation, mainly with Des. ODriscoll.

I owned an flew that Piper for 20 yrs. Then I decided to build an Aero-Pup, that took the best part

of 5yrs. Quiet an experience and a lot was learnt.

That's enough for this time around. 140 piper

Welcome Malk good to have another South Aussie on this forum. Like you, I did a lot of flying out of Parafield in the 70's and 80's and was a member of the Parafield Flying Club.

I flew many different aircraft (hired them) but eventually owned an L4 Piper Cub and then a Cessna 150. Flew ultralights out of Roland Flat and Truro and owned a Supa Pup mk 2 and also a mk 4. Currently operating out of Gawler and Truro Flats in my Son-in-Law's Morgan Sierra and hopefully VERY SOON my Son's ( Herm on this forum ) new Jabiru.

Wow!! Isn't life good when you are a pilot.

Hope to meet you sometime if in fact we have not already met somewhere.

Alan Marriette.

That will teach me to read better. Sorry. I wonder if you know an old friend of mine David Searle? I believe he flies out of Truro. David and I both had yachts once. I would love to catch up with him again.

That chattering noise you may have heard was not the Jab, it was my teeth as I was freezing while standing in the hangar. Hope the 170 impressed you.

You are correct, Dave not only flies from Truro Flats but has his own hangar and currently owns a two seat Jodel.

He is a very active member and well liked by everyone.
