Guest john Posted July 27, 2012 Posted July 27, 2012 An employee asked his boss for the day off work, & in reply the worker was told the following details: There are 365 days per year to choose from which days that you want to go to work. There are 52 weeks per year in which you already have 2 days off per week, leaving 261 days for work. Since you spend 16 hours each day away from work, you have used up 170 days , leaving only 91 days available. You spend 30 minutes each day on smoko breaks. That accounts for 23 days each year , leaving only 68 days available . With a 1 hour lunch break each day, you have used up another 46 days , leaving only 22 days available for work. You normally spend 2 days per week on sick leave, which leaves you only 20 days available for work. There are 5 days of public holidays each year so that still leaves you 15 days to work. You have 14 days holiday allotted to you under the current award. This leaves you only 1 day left to work & therefore you have the ordasity to ask for a day off work
