I used to use Metres when flying the Tyro as it gave me a very impressive down wind ground speed.

Fme, missed your decision to abandon - good decision when that happens. Even if it starts to clear it often gives you stress you don't need.

Don't use kilometers. Use nautical miles because that is what aviators use. You will quickly get used to it.

Not Yet,,and Not Happy,,,weather been terrible in vic..made a third attempt tues/wed but encounted another cold front and severe turbulance so had to abbanden and come home in the car agian...will have to wait a week or 2 for a high system with some calmer winds a try aagain...lost my ground crew so doin it all solo ,will carry a couple of jerry cans ...bloody weather..grrrrrrrrrrr

hell yeh...been a nightmare..drove 9 hrs down there AT A COST OF $130 (FUEL)for a 5 min circuit...then drove 9 hrs home again..what a waste....SICK OF WAITING

no,and it has rivetted gap covers,light wiring and asi tube threw wing strutts,,,no way im ever pulling the wings off agian..what a mission!!
