Back in my school days, two negatives made a positive, so I'd agree! 003_cheezy_grin.gif.c5a94fc2937f61b556d8146a1bc97ef8.gif

So...you lose $10, you are therefore -$10. 5 minutes later (you are very careless) you lose another $10 you are now

-$20. Two minuses. Where is the positive in that?? na_na.gif.fad5d8f0b336d92dbd4b3819d01d62e5.gif

Hang on, is this a five minute argument, or the full half hour? 008_roflmao.gif.692a1fa1bc264885482c2a384583e343.gif067_bash.gif.26fb8516c20ce4d7842b820ac15914cf.gif

This is not an argument, it's just contradiction...

"When you have two engines, you have two engines that can fall to bits. When you have four, you have four that can fall to bits. The less engines you have, the safer you are."

— Frank Fickeisen, chief engineer for Boeing, replying to a complaint made by the American Airlines Allied Pilots' Association about the dangers of flying the Atlantic with two engines.

That argument has been made. I think a Boeing Stratocruiser lost 3 of the four engines once, but it STILL made it. Twin engined planes have to be quite overpowered compared with four engined ones, to cover the engine out case.

A twin engined plane is required to land at the nearest SUITABLE airport when it loses a motor, because flying on one is not considered to provide a level of safety that is desired. Nev
