flyerme Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 Just read this in another post,Not good, Why are so many small aerodromes vanishing? Development..Not good for us Newbies if we have No were To land or learn for that matter.
Gnarly Gnu Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 The Advertiser are reliably wrong, I wouldn't stress about anything I read in that fishwrap particularly if it seems a bit senseless as this "1977 land agreement" does.
turboplanner Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 Have a look at the first thread. There is more in this than has surfaced so far.
Deskpilot Posted September 5, 2012 Posted September 5, 2012 Bloody local residence have been trying for years to close the field. If they didn't like it, they shouldn't have moved there in the first place. Unfortunately, suburbia is closing in on the field. This is the first I've heard of it so thanks for posting, JO.
dazza 38 Posted September 5, 2012 Posted September 5, 2012 I wouldnt be to concerned with it ATM. A facebook page has been going for about a week on this. With a councillor thrown into the mix. There are issues, but it isnt at the doom and gloom stage .
motzartmerv Posted September 6, 2012 Posted September 6, 2012 Ground training only. Pft. The fact they have been flying there for so long should count for something.
turboplanner Posted September 7, 2012 Posted September 7, 2012 Probably not in this case because the Permit was there in 1977 - this is a split thread - see the main thread
